What we often hear about event or other concept organizations that want to succeed in hiring people and growing into multiple cities is IMPLOSION.

IMPLOSION means they had to stop and back off from attempting to grow into multiple cities. They start to grow and then run into a variety of problems such as:

  • They have the customer data in 3-6 separate systems.
  • It takes too many moving parts to run the business.
  • The systems are not automated.
  • The systems and local events all run differently.
  • They just can’t scale.

The final issue is cost. Even large corporate entities are looking to reduce cost, and cost is the reason they decided to discontinue running events in many markets.
